Ontario’s 4th of July Celebration
Liberty 5K
We wish to thank the many participants who help to make our event a success. A special thank you to our race sponsors: Brian & Michelle Gates of State Farm Insurance. They have been great supporters of our 5K for several years. We also want to thank the Fourth of July Festival Committee for giving us a big hand with our festivities on what has certainly become a busy day for the Ontario community. Proceeds from our 5K support the Ontario High School and Middle School Cross Country programs. The coaches all wish to thank the many athletes who come back each year to take part in our race. It is a great opportunity to meet again. For this 2016 event, we honored Phil Giffin, a great promoter for Ontario Schools and Athletics. Phil was once a participant of this race, and for many years a supporter and organizer. We all wish Phil and his wife much happiness as they venture to their new home. We will certainly miss you here.
